Refund policy

At My Lifeview, we strive to ensure that all products are carefully inspected and packed before shipment. Due to the nature of wood products and custom-made items, please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Return & Exchange Eligibility

We accept return or exchange requests only under the following conditions:

  • The item received is damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our mistake.

  • The item must be reported within 24 hours after delivery.

  • The product must remain unused, uncut, unmodified, and in its original condition.

  • The original packaging must be kept complete.

  • All accessories, parts, or bundled items must be returned completely (if applicable).

Items that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for return or refund.

2. Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement

To protect both customers and our company, customers are required to record a clear, continuous, and unedited unboxing video when receiving their parcel.

The video must clearly show:

  • The condition of the outer packaging before opening.

  • All sides of the packaging.

  • The complete opening process.

  • The surface, edges, and corners of every plywood board or wood panel received.

If any damage is found, please provide the complete unedited unboxing video together with clear photos of the affected area.

⚠️ Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video may be rejected.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

  • Custom-cut products based on customer-provided measurements.

  • CNC-cut or specially processed items.

  • Products made according to customer specifications.

  • Items that have been cut, drilled, installed, modified, or used.

  • Clearance, discounted, or specially marked non-returnable items.

Please ensure all measurements, materials, thickness, colours, and specifications are correct before placing your order.

4. Customer Measurement Responsibility

For custom size orders, customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and specifications.

We are not responsible for:

  • Incorrect measurements provided by customers.

  • Wrong dimensions selected during checkout.

  • Products ordered with incorrect specifications.

Please double-check all measurements before confirming your order.

5. Natural Characteristics of Wood

Wood is a natural material, and variations in appearance are normal. These characteristics are not considered defects and are not eligible for return or refund, including but not limited to:

  • Natural colour differences.

  • Variations in wood grain and texture.

  • Wood knots or natural marks.

  • Slight warping, twisting, or bending due to natural wood movement.

  • Longitudinal cracks smaller than 4 inches.

  • Minor surface imperfections, grain tear-out, rough edges, or small splinters.

These natural characteristics do not affect the overall quality, strength, or functionality of the wood panel.

6. Shipping Damage Claims

For damaged items caused during delivery:

Customers must contact us within 24 hours after receiving the order and provide:

  • Complete unboxing video.

  • Clear photos and videos showing the damage.

  • Order number and product details.

Claims submitted after the stated period or without sufficient evidence may not be accepted.

7. Refund Process

Once your return request is approved and the item has been inspected, we will process the refund or replacement accordingly.

Refunds will only cover the product value unless the issue is caused by an error from our side.

Please note:

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item received is incorrect or defective due to our mistake.

  • Refund processing time may vary depending on the payment provider.

8. Order Cancellation

Order cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours after purchase.

Once production, cutting, or processing has started, cancellation requests cannot be accepted as the item has been prepared according to customer requirements.
